This is actually a throwback post for my trip to Hong Kong in June. I flew to Hong Kong by Singapore Airlines (click here to read my review on it).
I touched down in Hong Kong after midnight, took a Night Bus Service N21 and alighted at Kimberly Road, which is 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Feeling exhausted and sleepy, I head over to the hotel building, there’s a huge Nike shop at ground level beside the entrance to the hotel. Took a lift to level 5 (Hotel Lobby), and the friendly receptionists are already there waiting for me. Check-in was smooth and quick, gave a deposit of S$100 for the handy smartphone provided in the room. There’s free Wi-Fi in the hotel too.
My first impression of this boutique hotel is that it has an old-school Hong Kong vibe, mixture with modern pop art, which is very creative! My room was on the 7th floor, I have chosen the Urban Double Room, which is 15m², not very big, but it’s just nice for 2. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the amenities in the room was sufficient.
The hotel has 3 other room types: Cozy (22m²), Elite (25m²) and Studio Suite (35m²), each having unique decorations and theme of its own. The hotel lobby isn’t big but full of vintage, retro decorations, an awesome place for Instagram shots. What I loved most about this hotel is the prime location, it’s diagonally situated opposite The One Shopping Mall, and along shopping, eating street of Granville Road. This hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the nearest MTR Station, which easily connects you to the rest of Hong Kong.
My stay in the hotel was certainly very pleasant, I enjoyed my stay a lot, and would certainly recommend you to give this boutique hotel a try the next time you travel to Hong Kong.
