Nokia 8: Latest Flagship Phone Arrives In Town

Nokia is back in town with their latest Android flagship phone – Nokia 8. And will it win the hearts of consumers here? The flagship smartphone war is just about to heat up even more!

Introduced today with only 64GB-variant at a RRP of S$769, will it be better than Samsung S8 Edge, LG G6, Xiaomi Mi6, iPhone 8? Let’s check it out!

Nokia 8 is built from a single block of 6000 series aluminium, with polished mirror finish. It spots 13-megapixels front and back cameras with Zeiss optics. Nokia 8 has a 5.3-inch IPS QHD display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Inside of Nokia 8, you will find relatively up-to-date specifications! Built with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform octa-core, having 4GB of RAM and a 64GB storage (microSD card support of up to 256GB). It runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1.

Nokia 8 is packed with numerous features. Firstly, it has 3 cameras with Zeiss optics, 1 at the front and 2 at the rear (color+OIS and mono). It also has an exclusive Dual-Sight mode that let you use both front and rear camera simultaneously for split-screen photos & videos. This is first for mobile phones!

It’s also the first phone to feature Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio built in to its core.

Nokia 8 has a battery capacity of 3,090mAh and Quick Charge 3.0. It supports Bluetooth 5.0.

Nokia 8 currently comes in 3 different colors variants: Polished Blue, Tempered Blue and Steel during launch.
