SingPost Centre: Revamped, And Got Better

SingPost Centre was used to be a boring shopping mall sitting next to Paya Lebar MRT Station, with some furniture shops and eateries.

But not now anymore, after a S$150 million renovation, construction cost. It has become a hip, lifestyle shopping mall, with a partnership with CapitaLand. And which CapitaLand Malls isn’t good?

This 5-storey mall from Basement 1 to Level 4 consist of many shops varies from food and beverages, entertainment, fashion, fitness and children’s enrichment.

SingPost Centre will house Singapore’s largest post office, the General Post Office (GPO). It features state-of-the-art facilities and a heritage corner showing 150 years of postal services in Singapore. It also has the largest POPStation of 143 lockers. Across the corridor from the GPO is SingPost’s flagship Philatelic Store, which offers the widest range of philatelic products from Singapore and limited edition collectors’ items.

2 floors up, you will find the latest Golden Village cineplex. It is the only cinema you could find between Bugis MRT Station and Tampines MRT Station (along the Green Line). You can experience Singapore’s first all-smart-laser projector in its 8 screens to deliver superior image quality.

Foodies, do take note! You have tons of food choices in SingPost Centre, tons I meant 40 eateries throughout the shopping mall. Anchor F&B tenant Ministry of Food has opened a theme food hall, reminiscent of the old Tanjong Pagar Train Station, named Platform-M. It will bring 10 different eateries under one roof. You can also experience full-cashless payment when dining there.

Local artist – Ben Yeo latest eatery also opened its door here in SingPost Centre, called HAWKERMAN. It features local delights like Carrot Cake, Hokkien Mee, Lor Mee and Fried Chicken, etc. This brand new eatery seeks to preserve the culture and good taste of local hawker delights. No service charges for the food here!

Popular Taiwanese hotpot chain UPOT opened their first overseas outlet here in SingPost Centre. It’s also the first hotpot restaurant that serves food on a conveyer belt.

Lastly and most importantly, Gong Cha Singapore will be opening their first comeback flagship store here in December 2017!!! Can’t wait!
